COLUMBUS — Tim Novicki, of Columbus, was recognized for 20 years of service to Loup Power District.
Novicki joined Loup as an apprentice lineman in the Columbus retail operation and was promoted to lineman in 1990. In 1994, he passed the journeyman lineman test and was promoted to journeyman lineman, his current position. He works on the Columbus line crew out of the Columbus Service Center.
A graduate of Scotus Central Catholic, Novicki earned a utility lineman degree from Northeast Community College-Norfolk. During his schooling, he worked one summer at Loup as temporary apprentice lineman.
