Barb's School of Dance and Desiree's Dancers is hosting a "Shopping
Extravaganza" from 1-5 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 8 at the New World Inn, Hwys 30 and 81; and from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at the David City Library. Vendors will vary at each location, but include: Alternative Hair Fashions, Amway, Arbonne, Award Keeper, Beauty Control, Celebrating Home, Creative Memories, Diva Purses, Etc. Photography, Usborn Book Company, Hippy Chicks, First Position Dance Shoppe, Kat's Bags, Lia Sophia Jewelry, Mary Kay, Partylite, Premier Jewelry, Pampered Chef, Scentsy Candles, Uppercase Living, Tastefully Simple, Lavender and Thyme, and Tupperware. These vendors will have merchandise to purchase and order. Hy-vee coupon books, Puffins and other discount coupon books can also be purchased and baked items will be for sale. There will be a "Kids Corner" available for the younger children while parents shop. Admission is $1 for adults ages 19 and over; children 18 and younger are free. Profits from the “Shopping Extravaganza” will help defray the traveling expenses for our dancers attending dance classes in New York City in May. For more information call Desiree at 563-0389. |
