This certificate program provides in-depth training in vital areas of fundraising. It is offered by the UNO College of Public Affairs and Community Service and co-sponsored by the Nonprofit Association of the Midlands, Omaha Community Foundation, and the United Way of the Midlands. Annual Giving, September 24-25 Direct Marketing & Donor Data Management, October 8-9 Planned Giving & Major Gifts, October 15-16 Fundraising Concepts & Practices, October 22-23 Grant Writing, November 5-6 Strategic Planning, November 12-13 Classes are from 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and held at the Omaha Home for Boys, 4343 North 52nd Street (52nd & Ames). The cost is $249 per course and includes all class materials, refreshments, lunch and parking. Registration deadline for each class is one week prior to the start of that class.
