Actually Smarty Jones, they have been giving us the full articles now.

Anyway, my comment is that I thought it was harvesting now, and not hunting. "Honey, I'm going to go deer harvesting now."

Murder for recreation.

Hey I have an idea - lets see how many deer we can kill with our cars compared to the hunters. Deer are a P.I.T.A. if you know what I mean....

Deer hunting was great for our camp. Pheasant hunting has been fair. I was disappointed in the quail numbers thus far. I am going to try some duck and goose hunting over Thanksgiving.

Yo Al,

Certainly you're a vegetarian and do not use any animal by-products such as leather, do you?

An idea for a telegram story would be to remind hunters to read their hunting guides and know the consequences of their actions. If a landowner has signs posted "NO HUNTING" and "NO TRESPASSING", then keep out! As stated in the 2009 hunting guide... " It is the responsibility of every hunter to get permission to hunt, trail game or retrieve down game on private land, whether posted or not. Hunting without permission may result in a fine of up to $500, 3 months in jail and the loss of hunting privileges for up to 3 years." I hope that anyone caught trespassing will be punished by the court system every time.!!!

Deer Season (rifle) was a lot of fun this year as always. Only two of the four of us got deer. There was a lot of standing corn near our hunting area.

I hope to try again with my muzzle-loader. Hopefully the corn will be out by then.

We also noticed that there are quite a few coyotes in the area. I hope to get out and visit them again soon.

BTW, Al Gore is KNOWN for being a hypocrite.

Can you see the excitement that murder brings out in you? Feel the same way about pulling off an ear of corn, or digging a potato out of the ground? I didn't think so.

Another fact for you bloodthirsty types to ponder; the overwhelming evidence is that eating meat is the number one cause of global warming.

i have been out the past two Sundays pheasant hunting. I got one pheasant each day and have seen many others but were out of range. I will get them another day. I have also seen deer where i hunt but no quail.

Hey Al, something for ya to ponder whilst jetting around the world in your Gulfstream on your way to lecture us rubes yet again on the excesses of modern living and how we're causing "man made" (ahem) global warming:

Psychological projection or projection bias (including Freudian Projection) is the unconscious act of denial of a person's own attributes, thoughts, and emotions, which are then ascribed to the outside world, such as to the weather, the government, a tool, or to other people. Thus, it involves imagining or projecting that others have the same feelings or motives, rather than what they really think.

I see that WWCND is not content with murdering deer. His fellow hunters, the coyotes, are now targets. What's the problem? Vehicles, camouflage, and firearms aren't enough to give you that competitive edge?

An excellent example of the crazed state that murderers attain, is occurring in Nepal. Two hundred thousand animals and birds will be slaughtered to honor Gadhimai, a Hindu goddess of power. This has been done for centuries, to make Nepal the financial juggernaut that it isn't.

I can see many of you participating in such a bloodfest, just to satisfy this endless need to murder.

Apparently you are one of the hunters that likes to sneak on landowner's land, or you just did not get your buck this season since you seem so sour. Signs do not have to be posted, you are still trespassing. By the way, landowners pay their fair share of taxes. It is also a liability issue, why would anyone let strangers with rifles be on your land to do as they wish?? If you truly want to hunt someones property ask permission first, pay them money to hunt, and give them some sausage and jerky when you get your meat. I myself do not hunt because I am an animal lover and I want the animals to seek refuge on my property so that I can enjoy them. Too many times I have found dead deer with their heads chopped off...leaving the meat for a coyote. I only let trusted respectable hunters on the land to hunt because I know they will not sue me when they trip over a twig and break a hip.

Mr. Gore,

Please stick to the facts. It is only 250,000 buffalo that will be sacrificed, as part of their religous ceremony. You as a liberal really ought to be more tolerant of others beliefs.

The difference between you and the hunters here is, you are an enivromentalist and they are conservationists. Conservationists can point to demonstrable accomplishments from their efforts, i.e. increased deer, pheasant, and turkey populations and habitat. Enviromentalists can only point to the drakonian anti-capitalist legislation, and the recent "Climategate" as accomplishments.

Deer hunting went pretty good, ironically, I am a land owner with river frontage, but I shot nice sized deer off of 2 other people's land because it was so crowded in my neighborhood with the city folks out and about that there wasn't any good shooting available, kind of funny, in a way. I let guys hunt at my place and they didn't get XXXX, but I went elsewhere and I did real well. Hey Al Gore, I bet your carbon footprint is alot bigger than mine, you sorry XXXX!
