Over the years, I have had the privilege of fielding a number of questions from individuals searching for reading materials for the children in their lives.

Inquiries like “My grandchildren from out of state are staying with me for a few days. Can you recommend some books that I could read to them?” or “My 10-year-old has to do a project for science class. Does the library happen to have any books that deal with making science experiments?” or “Our family just acquired a new puppy. Do you have any children’s books on dog training?”

All of these are valid questions, and the answers are pretty straightforward. For quality reading material for little ones, check out the Easy collection.

Looking for texts that will help young scientists create amazing projects? Take a gander at the 507s in juvenile nonfiction.
