The Columbus Arts Council is presenting the Wichita Children’s Theatre (WCT) free performance of “Little Red Riding Hood” at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, at the Nantkes Performing Arts Center at Columbus High School.

This delightful retelling of the Brothers Grimm story introduces us to the endearing, yet capricious Little Red; her understanding mother; her doting, yet wise grandmother; the brave and kindly woodsman and the silly, bumbling wolf who is more interested in Little Red’s basket of goodies than he is in Little Red.

The show educates as well as entertains.

This is the eighth appearance of WCT Professional Touring Co. in Columbus, and it has become a beloved event. The company is professional in every facet, complete with storybook sets, costumes and props, which make a wonderful and welcoming theatrical experience for even the littlest patrons.
