COLUMBUS -- Central Community College-Columbus will be building more on-campus housing.
The college board of governors approved the estimated $2.5 million residence hall project at its Tuesday meeting.
Dr. Matt Gotschall, campus president, said work will begin immediately. Anticipated completion date is June 2010. The project will be paid for through capital improvement funds and revenue bonds, which is money generated from student fees and housing.
The new dorm will be a 36-bed residence hall with an ability to increase occupancy up to as many as 50 students, Gotschall said.

I'd like to know where the college found the pot of gold to do this. I believe the voters tuned down a bond for this and other improvements. Is this stimulus money?Ted C. Lincoln

It's a start. I currently attend CCC and live off campus. More improvements along the way. ;0)
