HOWELLS -- Richard (Rich) Belina, 53, of Howells, died, Sunday, Aug. 2, 2009, at his farm.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday at S.S. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Howells. Burial will be in the Parish cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at the church with a 3 p.m. Rosary and a 7 p.m. Wake Service. Visitation will continue from 9-10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church.

Rich was born Jan. 27, 1956, in Schuyler to Marvin and Mary Ann (Roubal) Belina. He attended District 1R rural school and graduated from Howells High School in 1974. Rich married Terri Burenheide on May 15, 1976, at St. John's Catholic Church in Howells. They lived south of Howells until recently when they moved into Howells. Rich was a truck driver/farmer and loved to drive his truck and work on his tractors. He enjoyed camping and riding his motorcycle. They were members of Holy Trinity Catholic Church at Heun.

Rich is survived by his wife, Terri of Howells; four sons, Craig (Kristy) Belina of Clarkson, Brock (Stacy) Belina of Lincoln, Byron (Cara) Belina of Columbus and Clark Belina of Howells; four grandchildren, Levi, Lane, Hadley and Sophia; his parents, Marvin and Mary Ann Belina of Howells; six siblings, Paul (Barb) Belina of Schuyler, Jeff (Ardean) Belina of Clarkson, Cheryl (Mrs. Dick) Jakubowski of Norfolk, Laurie (Mrs. Dan) Bazata of Howells, Dave (Brenda) Belina of Howells and Allan (Kim) Belina of Battle Creek.

He is preceded in death by his father-in-law, Norman Burenheide.

Terri and family,
You are in my thoughts and prayers at this time. Rich was a wonderful person and will be very missed.
