COLUMBUS -- Following a year and a half of preparation, the groundwork has been laid for nearly 400 of the 700 descendants of Szymon (Samuel) and Katazyna (Kathryn) Tarnick to return to the family farmstead in rural Genoa/Krakow Saturday.

The Tarnick family reunion will serve as a celebration of 120 years of continuous ownership and operation of the farm and an opportunity for those making the trek home to get reacquainted.

Samuel and Kathryn had 10 children at the time they acquired their 160-acre farmstead July 20, 1889.
