4:57 p.m. -- In the 3000 block of Sixth Street, a vehicle driven by David Staggs, 40, David City, struck a tree.

6:15 p.m. -- In the 3200 block of 23rd Street, traffic accident. Drivers were Lori Pickinpaugh, 44, 40A Clear Lake, and Craig Wiese, 34, Newman Grove. Pickinpaugh was cited for negligent driving.

11:59 a.m. -- At the intersection of Eighth Street and 26th Avenue, Wesley Hargrave, 35, Warren, Texas, was cited for a truck route violation.

2:05 p.m. -- At the intersection of Cottonwood Drive and Robin Lane, traffic accident. Drivers were Michael Gray, 55, 254 20th Ave., and Leandra London, 22, Lincoln.

8:10 p.m. -- At the intersection of 23rd Street and East Third Avenue, an unknown driver lost control, struck a median and street sign and fled the scene.

9 a.m. -- At the intersection of 38th Street and 18th Avenue, a vehicle driven by Ryan Menchaca, 17, 1516 First St., struck a city street sign.

11:19 a.m. -- In the 1700 block of 16th Street, traffic accident. Drivers were Mary Rhoades, 85, 3053 31st Ave., and Jerome Duren, 69, 120 Lakeshore Drive.

1:35 p.m. -- In the 800 block of 26th Avenue, traffic accident. Drivers were Andrea Sutherland, 19, 32 Clear Lake, and Kenneth Vyhlidal, 45, Fremont.

8:35 p.m. -- In the 1400 block of 40th Avenue, a vehicle driven by Anthony Melcher, 21, Monroe, struck parked vehicles owned by Cindy Gdowski, 3508 20th St., and Tim and Alana Berlin, 2859 First Ave. Melcher was cited for failure to maintain control.
