Six in running for open seat on board

COLUMBUS -- The committee to appoint a replacement for the late Bernie Friedrichsen for the District 7 Platte County Supervisor’s seat met Monday to lay ground rules and establish the time frames for interviewing six applicants.

District 7 residents who have applied by letter or with a resume include Dennis Cetak, Dean Hefti, David Mullin, Hollie Olk, Cletus Scholl and Bryan Ternus.

The appointing committee includes Platte County Clerk Diane Pinger, Platte County Treasurer Marietta Newman and Platte County Attorney Sandra Allen.
