Some state stimulus projects delayed

LINCOLN -- Millions of dollars worth of Nebraska road projects meant to stimulate the economy won’t start this year, even though the worst of the downturn may already have passed.

State officials partially blame too much red tape from federal officials. But they also have themselves to blame: They haven’t yet fully complied with requirements stemming from a 2007 federal audit that showed a lack of local oversight of local road projects.

Call your state senator & tell them to not accept the money. Doesn't anyone realize that this money needs to be paid back in taxes?!! We'll be under the feds thumb forever.......
