Are you a Bill O'Reilly fan? Keith Olbermann? Rush Limbaugh? Michael Savage? Chris Mathhews?  Who do listen/watch the most and why -- or why not?

Keith Olbermann is good. I really like the way he ends his show and the "worst persons in the world segment" Very funny. He also seems to be balanced, most too.

MSNBC These two give both sides hell when they need to. Keith Olberman both as a commentator and sports guy. I like the way he follows up on statements by producing the video to prove or disprove them. Second is Rachel Maddow. She doesn't scream or yell and is fair about her guests and points. Third is Rick Sanchez (CNN) because he involves viewers in his one hour show.

Bill O'Reilly & Rush Limbaugh. I do not even watch news other than FOX and local stations. The NBC, CBS, ABC's are TOO Liberal for me. I want the facts not as they slant it. That ex governor from Arkansas has some good slants and ideas he presents. I look forward to a new Republicans in 2010 and 2012. This current group is taking us into a DEEP hole. I think that history will show the true story of the good things GW Bush did to protect our country and maintain local controls within government. No president can do every thing he wants to. The woman from San Fran needs to GO. She has no clue about the needs of security of our nation. Let her take a golf cart on her trips to California. Then maybe congress can find a new leader to replace her. It would save the tax payers thousands of dollars and improve
political relations in Washington.

Bill O'Reilly, Rush Limbaugh, sometimes Michael Savage. They are good at getting to the truth of things and have more of my views than any one else except Glenn Beck and Shawn Hannity. No, I don't drink the cool aid,I was glad when I found them to help get my views across

I watch Keith Olbermann because I want the facts, not the right wing propaganda presented by Limbaugh, Hannity, Beck, or Savage who are coincidentally all on Faux News. Granted, Olbermann can get a bit hysterical at times but he gets is right far more often than anyone else. Maddow deserves honorable mention although I don't watch her show nearly as much.

There's also a young up and comer on CNN by the name of Don Lemon who I like a lot.

Oh my God - do you Olberman people REALLY listen to him. The guy is orgasmic at the mere mention on Obama. I will admit that I do not watch him too much, but I've watched enough to know that he has NEVER said anything remotely positive about the Republican party. He gives both sides? Yea - Democrats only in a positive note, Republicans only negative. Is he funny? Not to me. If you're not sure yourself, just ask him. I'm sure he'd let you know how incredibly talented, smart, funny, kind (to liberals only) he is. What I find amusing is that he has his highly opinionated show - which is fine. 1st amendment and all. But MSNBC loses any credibility when the have him as a 'news' anchor on election nights, right after his show.

wtb has the best idea, it has applied to my viewing of the "news" (made up blabber by the various networks depending on what they are pushing that day) for several years now.

It sure has helped with my anxiety and depressionb because I am free of the gloom and doom they "liberally" spread around to build their flocks of followers.

I can and do deal with reality, I just do not care for the made up version via media propaganda.

I do listen to Olbermann. I really do. And you know what? I LIKE him! I haven't ever seen him get orgasmic at the mention of Obama, but I have seen him get indignant and downright angry at some of the stuff the Bush adminsitration has tried to pull off. I even saw him go off on Hillary Clinton once. If you haven't seen him say anything positive about the Republican party it is probably because you haven't been watching enough. I have seen him give credit to the GOP on the few occasions when it deserved credit, but let's face it-they haven't deserved much lately. Olbermann is way more objective than O'Reilly or Beck or Hannity but then again none of those guys ever said anything positive about Democrats unless is was somebody like Zell Miller or Joe Liebermann who should have been kicked out of the party long ago. And that "news anchor" thing? Get over it, it's yesterday's news. MSNBC replaced Olbermann and Chris Matthews after Super Tuesday and haven't used either one in that capacity since. For my money Olbermann-opinionated though he may be-is way better than anybody on Fox News.

You're right city guy, Savage does not have a show on Fox News. I should have proofread my post better. But that was the only thing you were correct about. I was commenting on the posters here who stated that they get their facts from MSNBC in particular Keith Oberman and Madcow.

If you are going to make blanket statements such as those who watch FNC you should know what you are talking about since I watch MSNBC mostly.

If you are not intelligent enough to pick up on the subtleties of a point being made, you would serve yourself better by staying quiet.

JPJ...........we were asked who we liked the best or listened to. I said Olberman, Maddow and Sanchez, because I like the way they do their programs. As far as what makes up my mind, I make up my own mind, not commentators on TV or Radio. The only reason I don't ever watch FOX anymore is because they have gone off the deep end, and spout too much hate. I consider myself adult enough however, to be able to listen to anyone and make up my own mind........and that is how it should be. All of these people are just talking.

I have grown quite fond of Mark Levin (even with his annoying voice).

I'm fascinated by how many people here say they watch Olbermann! A quick glance at the Nielsen ratings for 6/11 (http://tvbythenumbers.com/2009/06/12/cable-news-ratings-for-june-11-2009/20561#more-20561) leads me to conclude that alot of people posting here are out of touch with mainstream America.

It is okay the numbers don't lie you all like to watch Bill O'Reilly, and Sean Hannity. Why in the 'land of Freedom' do so many of you feel the need to hide your true political sympathies (This is an annonymous internet forum)?

Sam (or should I say "Sam I am")

You are the classic example of a person claiming to have knowledge or education on a topic (and I use the word education with a grain of salt) meanwhile all you are really accomplishing is making yourself look like a true hater. Apparently in your Dr. Seuss world, if people don't agree with your view 100% of the time, they are entitled "NAZIS" and therefore know nothing. Are you kidding me? How about taking into account ALL of the news personalities and then making a decision? How about agreeing to disagree? How about not stooping to calling people derogatory names? How about not putting down your neighbor who may not agree with you and calling them NAZIS just so you can sleep at night? Really Sam, what kind of person does that make you? It doesn't even matter who is right or who is wrong...it simply shows your ignorance. Does this mean that everyone you don't agree with is a NAZI? Maybe you should go back to reading your Dr. Seuss bedtime stories and leave the real topics for those of us who can respond in an adult and mature manner. Seriously! you are more of a source of comedic entertainment on this site than anything else.

You a complete idiot. MSNBC is totally left wing and given your IQ you would believe anything that was said. You should attempt to get the news unbiased and reported fairly and the only way to get this is Fox News. If Obama told you to jump off a bridge you would follow these instructions like a maron. You need to seriously get a life and while you at it get an open mind and take your head out of the sand.

Wow, the Fox News watching koolaid drinkers have slithered out from under their rocks to make their little personal attacks. It's alright to call MSNBC commentators socialists but when someone dishes it back at the right wing commentators on Fox you all come unglued. Seems you can dish it out but you can't take it.

One of you even went through the trouble of dreging up an old indiscretion on Olbermann's part directed at Bill O'Reilly and for which Olbermann apologized to his viewers years ago. That's not quite as current as Rush Limbaugh saying he hoped the President of the United States would fail or of Sean Hannity reneging on his promise to subject himself to waterboarding and donatig money to charity for each second he could withstand it. Olbermann called him on it but Hannity still hasn't kept his promise.

That "infatuation" you seem to think I have with Keith Olbermann is nothing more than a desire to hear the facts presented as objectively as possible-something the likes of Limbaugh, Hannity, O'Reilly and Savage seem to be utterly incapable of doing.

Jun 15, 2009 12:37 PM
Sam, let's pretend for a minute that you're intelligent enough to comprehend the facts. Do you really believe that any newscaster is unbiased? Just because you agree with Keith doesn't make him right (or in your case left). Take a deep breath and try to listen to what they're really saying. See? They're all just spewing propaganda based on the political stance of the network that pays them. It's nothing more than televised lobbying. I agree that Sponge Bob would be better to listen to.

Do I need to break out some little kids hand puppets for you to understand? The people coming out of the woodwork are upset because you took the low road and called them NAZIS just because they don't appear to have the same viewpoint as you.

And don't even get me started on how Olbermann is just trying to become some massive celebrity figure. He only cares on what stories are going to get him talked about later...

Please read attached article from Canadian Free press: http://www.thedailydigest.org/americans-largely-silent-as-their-nation-is-systematically-destroyed/

I have yet to see either dems or reps who are completely right. Both sides have those who are too pigheaded and blinded by their own prejudices and hatred to see what's happening to our country right before their eyes. May God bless all who read this and and open their eyes to the truth.

Rush Limbaugh can get out of hand to the right, but he does have his facts straight. Keith Olberman and Rachel Maddow are nasty to listen to. All they seem to do is damn the right. Fair and Balanced - Hardly!

Are any of you aware that Fox news is evenly divided between dem, rep, & independent commentators and viewers? Dem's, please take the time to listen to democrat Charles Krauthammer on Fox news. Go here to see his accomplishments: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Krauthammer. This guy knows history and is very balanced on his views. Did you know Bill O'Reilly is an independent? Glenn Beck is a democrat who is critical of both dems and reps and is very active in getting the news out that's being filtered by our main stream news media. Both O'Reilly and Beck base their views on facts. They both tell you not to listen to them, but to check it out.

Of course, if all you're about is listening to people damn republicans, then of course listen to msnbc and cnn.

If you want to know what's really happening to our country because you don't think it's "normal" for our government to steal from you, do take the time to watch Fox with a open mind.

Any of you watching cnn or msnbc hear that North Korea has threatened us with military force today? They do have nuclear weapons, you know. Just being nice or closing your eyes and hoping it away doesn't matter to them. They want to fight, even if we are nice. At the same time, Obama plans to eliminate our missile defense system.

By the way, I don't really care if anyone replies to this. Make excuses and close your eyes if you want. Some will be intelligent to check the facts out for themselves. As for the rest, you are responsible for ruining the future of the last free country on earth. Remember, after WWII, people had the U.s. to escape to. There is no other place to run and hide.
