Loup Power cookbook is now available

COLUMBUS -- The Loup Power District’s complimentary holiday cookbooks have become a much-anticipated offering each year at the holiday season.

The 2008 version is available to Loup's customers now.

“The cookbook is an appreciation gift to our customers,” said New Business Supervisor Rick Cheloha.

In celebration of the 75th anniversary of Loup Power District, the 2008 version of the cookbook features favorite recipes of past cookbooks as submitted by Loup Power District employees, retirees and board members.

The cookbook is available at all Loup offices located in Albion, Clarkson, Columbus, Fullerton, Genoa, Humphrey, Newman Grove and St. Edward.

Additional distribution points to obtain the books include:

• Belgrade, at the Belgrade Post Office,

• Cedar Rapids, at Cedar Rapids Bank,

• Creston, at Citizens Bank of Leigh-Creston Branch,

• Duncan, at the Duncan Post Office,

• Howells, at the Howells City Office,

• Leigh, at the Leigh City Office,

• Lindsay, at the Bank of Lindsay,

• Monroe, at Cornerstone Bank,

• Petersburg, at Petersburg State Bank,

• Platte Center, at Bank of the Valley-Platte Center Branch, and

• Schuyler, at the City Utilities offices.
