GENOA -- Ricardo “Ricky” Osantowski, 14, of Genoa, died Saturday, Aug. 30, 2008, at Genoa Community Hospital.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 5 at Augustana Lutheran Church in Genoa with the Rev. Juliet Rasi officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Augustana Lutheran Church.
Ricky was born Oct. 20, 1993, in Central City to William and Tina (Nitzel) Osantowski. He was a freshman at Twin River School in Genoa. He lived in Fullerton until the past three years.
He is survived by his mother, Tina Osantowski of Genoa; brother, Joe Osantowski of Rapid City, S.D. and Dalton Osantowski of Genoa; sisters, Angela Osantowski of Columbus, Rose Osantowski of Genoa and Kasey Osantowski of Genoa.
Ricky was preceded in death by a very special friend, Tracy Holmstedt and his great grandparents.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
Patrick Funeral Chapel in Genoa is in charge of arrangements.
