COLUMBUS -- The Telegram will publish on the Fourth of July with delivery in the morning.
In observance of the July 4 Independence Day holiday, all government offices and banks will be closed. Other local services will also be affected:
Columbus Senior Center will be closed and resume its regular schedule Monday.
Columbus Area Transit will be closed and resume its regular schedule Saturday.
Columbus Public Library will be closed July 4. Regular hours will resume Saturday.
The Columbus Transfer Station Yard Waste Site will be available to the public from 8-11:30 a.m. Friday. The Transfer Station Scale House will be available for licensed garbage haulers only from 8-11:30 a.m. for solid waste disposal. Saturday hours will be from 8 a.m.-noon for regular solid waste business, and 9 a.m.-6 p.m. for the yard waste site.
FEMA/State Disaster Recovery Centers will be closed Friday. The centers will re-open on Saturday and be open from 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
Paws and Claws Adoption Center will be closed on Friday and resume normal hours on Saturday.
