4:21 a.m. -- At 15th Street and 41st Avenue; Derek M. Parris, 19, Columbus, was jailed for DUI, minor in consumption-alcohol, possesion of drug paraphenilia and stop sign violation.

4:35 a.m. -- In the 1200 block of 41st Avenue, Dylan T. Parris, 19, Columbus cited for MIP-consumption.

2 p.m. –- In the 1000 block of 24th Avenue, Kevin N. Findral was cited for vicious dog, no rabies, no license for his pit bull.

10:30 a.m. -- At 12th Avenue and 9th Street, Frank G. Bartushock, wsa cited for animal at large, no rabies, no license for his Boston terrier.

11:22 p.m. -- In the 2800 block of Linden Drive, Brian Kadavy, 23, of David City was jailed for first offense DUI.

11:08 a.m. -- in the 2900 block of 10th Street, Holly J. Faulkner, 25, Columbus was cited for animal at large, second offense for her rottweiller.

10:18 a.m. -- A two vehicle property damage accident with no injuries occured near the intersection of Pine and First streets in Lindsay. Damage to the 2004 Chevrolet four-door owned by Donna L. Brandl, 78, was estimated at $2,000. Damage to the second vehicle, a 1989 Cadillac four-door owned by Harold J. Oterpohl, 77, was estimated at $25.

8:24 a.m. -- Vehicle stop; Lakeview parking lot written warning for speeding.

3:09 p.m. -- Criminal Mischief; 400th Avenue Monroe; juvenile cited for theft by unlawfull taking and criminal mischief.

4:24 p.m. -- Theft/others; 200 block Oak Street, Creston; loss of $300.

5:14 p.m. -- Welfare check Butler County Sheriff Office; south bound on Loup River bridge, unable to locate.

6:55 p.m. -- Public Relations; Sheriff’s office lobby, Columbus, subjects were found a room at Super 8 Motel.

7:33 p.m. -- PD Accident;1 mile south of Platte Center Rt. 81; unable to locate deer.

7:46 p.m. -- PD Accident; Lindsay Mfg., Lindsay, Hit and Run Accident. Damage to 1 vehicle $1,500; 2nd vehicle unknown.

7:57 p.m. -- Traffic Hazard; Westbound lanes 1/2 E 45 on U.S. Highway 91; water removed from the road.

6:55 a.m. -- Sexual Offender registration; Male sex offender registered.

12:33 p.m. -- Accident; Warren E. Creamer of Monroe; damage to vehicle 1-$15,000, vehicle 2-$50,000. Male taken to Creighton, female to Columbus Community Hospital.

3 p.m. -- Wanted Person; 3000 block of 48th Avenue; lsmael Martinez of Columbus jailed on Platte County warrant.

3:14 p.m. -- Welfare check; 5 miles south of Humphrey on Hwy 81; female was taken home by Nebraska State Patrol.

4:49 p.m. -- Vehicle stop; New World Inn, Columbus; Jeremy Pichler of Duncan issued citation for expired registration.

7:24 a.m. -- Criminal Trespassing; Donna J. Holmes, South Whitetail Lake; subjects asked to leave.

7:43 p.m. -- Vehicle stop; Brett Alswager of Columbus issued citation for speeding

10:23 p.m. -- Traffic Hazard; Deer carcass located, too many bits & pieces to remove off the roadway.

3:50 a.m. -- Fire call; southwest of 370th Street and 250th Avenue; Tree branch sparking in power lines. Platte Center Fire and Cornhusker Power on scene.

12:12 p.m. -- Lost animal; Circle H, Columbus; information taken.

12:24 p.m. -- Criminal mischief; swimming pool Creston; $200 damage, information passed on to Lt.

2:02 p.m. -- Wanted person; Tina Lotspeich of Columbus arrested on a Platte County warrant.

2:45 p.m. -- Vehicle in ditch between Duncan and 250th Avenue, Duncan.

3:10 p.m. -- Wanted person; Billy Haynes of Columbus arrested on Platte County warrant.

4:37 p.m. -- Wanted person; Jay L Gembica of Columbus arrested on Platte County warrant.

6:04 p.m. -- Welfare check; juveniles told to not jump off the bridge.

7:36 p.m. -- Theft from Building; $400 loss of copper wire from welder.

1:28 a.m. -- Criminal mischief 200 block of Pine Street, Lindsay; $50 damage to sign.

8:56 a.m. -- Traffic Complaint; southbound Monestary Road from 83rd Street, was already in city limits when reported.

10:56 a.m. -- PD Accident; eastbound lane U.S. Highway 30, $1,500 damage to vehicle.

1 p.m. -- Keep the Peace; 500 block Oak Street, Humphrey, peace was kept.

2:36 p.m. -- Vehicle stop; U.S. Highway 91 and 370th Avenue; John Gauthier of Kearney cited for speeding.

7:42 p.m. -- Dispute: 4000 block 28th Street; fight was over on arrival.

11:14 p.m. -- Assist other agency; Cedar and 5th Street, Humphrey; One male juvenile cited for minor in possession of alcohol, Two female juveniles cited for minor in possession of alcohol.

3:39 a.m. -- PD Accident; between 2100 block of 26th Avenue; Travis L Hammons jailed DUI first offense.

12:21 p.m. -- Animal complaint; 6000 block of 56th Street, Columbus; dog owner was contacted and given a notice of the dangerous dog notice.

6:02 p.m. -- Child abuse/child abuse hotline; events occured in Butler county, referred to other agency.

6:44 p.m. -- Medical emergency; south of Columbus, Loup River; subject removed from water.

7:49 p.m. -- Animal complaint; 400 block Oak Street, Humphrey; Information will be forwarded to Humphrey PD.

9:23 p.m. -- PD accident; U.S. Highway 30/14th Avenue, Columbus; damage to vehicle number one $500 dollars, damage to vehicle number two $10 dollars.

6:44 p.m. -- Loup River bridge; teenage boy trapped by high water.

8:47 p.m. -- 100 block of 10th Avenue; burning without a permit, verbal warning given.

2:54 a.m. -- Sick call; 2600 block of 14 Street; no transport.
