Lakeview boosters hold Burger Bash

COLUMBUS - The Lakeview Booster Club is sponsoring a burger bash during the Lakeview-Madison varsity football game Thursday at Lakeview Stadium. A meal costs $4 and includes a grilled hamburger or brat, chips, a cookie and a drink. Extra sandwiches are $2. The event will run from 6 p.m. through halftime of the game.

Shamrock Club to host Burger Bash

COLUMBUS - The Scotus Shamrock Club is sponsoring a burger bash during the Scotus-Twin River varsity football game Thursday at the south end of Pawnee Park's Memorial Stadium. Burgers, brats, chips and beverages will be available beginning at 5:45 p.m. and running until halftime of the game.

The roller hockey deadline is Oct. 21

COLUMBUS - The Columbus Hockey and Skate Center is now accepting registrations for its first hockey league of the season.  The registration deadline is Sunday, with league play beginning Oct. 28. Leagues forming for indoor soccer

COLUMBUS - Nov. 10 has been set as the registration deadline for an indoor soccer league at the Columbus Hockey and Skate Center. The league will run December through February.  Cost is $30 per player.  League is open to boys and girls. For more information, call the rink at 562-5663. 

Family Skate Night is open Saturdays

COLUMBUS - The Columbus Hockey and Skate Center has added an additional night of skating to its schedule. The rink will now be open for skating Saturday nights from 7-10 p.m. for Family Skate Night.  Admission is $5. With a parent, families skate for $3 per person. Skates are available for rent.
