OSCEOLA - Three medalists paced the High Plains boys golf team to the team title at the Osceola Invitational.
Isaac Samuelson fired a 76 to pace the Storm, which finished with an 18-hole total of 316. Osceola was second with a 325. Twin River came in fifth with a 356 and Humphrey placed sixth, also with a 356.
Caleb Church and Jesse Dubas medaled for High Plains. Church carded a 78 to finish seventh, while Dubas finished eighth with a 79. Matt Anderson and Nic Beck fired an 82 and 83, respectively.
Landon Peterson paced Osceola with a 77 for a fourth-place medal. Corey Gabel and Max Marak each fired an 81 to finish ninth and 10th, respectively. Cody Stowe fired an 86 while Brandon Gabel shot an 88.
Twin River's Evan Fowler almost earned a top 10 medal as he placed 11th after firing an 82. The Titans' Mark Peterson and Nick Olson each fired 90s. Scott Johnson and Greg Connelly fired scores of 94 and 95, respectively.
Cody Christensen led Humphrey with a runner-up finish as he shot a 76. Todd Bachman came in with a 91 and Justin Meyer shot a 94. Jared Kallweit fired a 96, and Dennis Hanzel rounded out the Bulldog golfers with a 124.
Tyler Fozzard was the only Rising City participant and he fired a 95.

Stanton Invite
STANTON - Shawn Preister's second-place medal at the Stanton Invite Friday helped the Humphrey St. Francis golf team finish fourth.
Preister fired an 18-hole score of 81 at Elkhorn Acres Golf Course, and was one shot behind Keaton Knake of Norfolk Catholic. Knake's efforts helped the Knights grab the team title with 334. Howells fired a 388 to come in ninth while Humphrey shot a 396 to place 11th.
Also competing for the Flyers were Nathan Bender, who carded an 86 and Joel Kosch with a 91. Jameson Werner and Randy Foltz rounded out the St. Francis squad with a 92 and 93, respectively.
Cody Christensen earned a fourth-place finish by firing an 82 for Humphrey. Justin Meyer was second for the Bulldogs with a total of 98, while Jared Kallweit shot a 104. Todd Bachman came in with a 112, and Dennis Hanzel fired a 118.
Howells didn't have any medalists, but Jake Pieper led the Bobcats with a round of 89. Jeff Faltys finished with a 95, Keith Cech carded a 100, Mickey Schumacher came in with a 104, and Jason Janata shot a 117.
