NORFOLK - Leigh rolled over Newman Grove 78-48 Tuesday night in Class D1-4 subdistrict semifinals at Norfolk Catholic.
The Panthers dominated the game from the beginning, overwhelming the Bluejays by outscoring them 22-8 in the first quarter. In the second half, Leigh continued to pull away from the Bluejays.
Jake McMullin led the Panthers, recording 27 points, eight rebounds and two assists. Marcus Urban scored 11 points and added four rebounds and an assist.
Trey Frauendorfer led the Bluejays, recording 12 points, six rebounds and a block, while Ryan Nathan recorded nine points and three assists.

The second-ranked Flyers trailed 18-7 after the first quarter, but found the grove in the second quarter to outscore the Wildcats 15-7. St. Francis eventually took the lead in the third period and held on for the victory.
Kendal Bender led the Flyers with 23 points, while Shawn Preister added 17 points.
Marcus Messersmith led the Wildcats with 25 points.

The Bulldogs started out slow, but picked up the momentum as the game went on. The Bulldogs outscored Patriots 36-18 in the first half and continued to pull away after intermission the second half.
Jeff Wegener led the Bulldogs with 19 points while Clayton Korus recorded 17 points.

The Huskies took a commanding 27-14 lead over the Tigers in the first half and continued to pull away. The Huskies' strong defense held the Tigers to single-digit scores in three out of the four quarters.
Hablitzel led the Huskies recording 20 points, while Gillespie scored 19 points. Bryant Alt added 11 points.
Collins Haag led the Tigers with 13 points, while Neil Kilchriste recorded 11 points.

Dodge dominated the Terriers 37-16 in the first half and continued to put up a fight in the second half.
The Terriers stayed within reach in the second half, but couldn't overcome the 20-6 first-quarter deficit.
Dion Kovar led the Terriers with 18 points and 12 rebounds, while James Wightman scored eight points and eight rebounds.
Ben Franzluebber led Dodge with 11 points while Bryan Ruskamp added 10 points.
