DAVID CITY - The Butler County Sheriff's Office and Nebraska State Patrol continue to investigate an automobile crash seven miles west of David City that killed a St. Edward man on Friday.
Aaron M. Miller was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash occurred around 9:45 p.m.
According to a press release from the Butler County Sheriff's office, a vehicle driven by Thomas K. Rathje was traveling eastbound on County Road 35 when it struck the passenger side of a vehicle being driven southbound on County Road F by Brian Saathoff, causing both vehicles to end up in the southeast ditch area. The report said that stop signs were in place for the north and southbound traffic.
Miller was riding in the front seat of Saathoff's vehicle.
Saathoff and a back seat passenger, Shawn Verney, and Rathje and his passenger, Amanda J. Reeg, were all transported to Butler County Health Care Center to be treated for their injuries.
